- Frequency: Continuously every 10 seconds when online
- Purpose:
- Show your availability and location to nearby riders
- Offer you relevant ride requests based on proximity
- Provide turn-by-turn navigation to pickup and destination
- Update riders on your real-time location during active rides
- Calculate accurate ETAs for riders waiting for pickup
- Shared with: Nearby clients when you're available; your assigned rider during active rides; Google Maps API for routing
- Background collection: We collect your location in the background only when you're marked as "available" to ensure riders can see your real-time position
You Control Your Location Sharing:
- Clients: Close the app to stop sharing location
- Drivers: Toggle to "offline" in the app to stop location sharing. You can also revoke location permissions in your device settings, but this will make the app unusable
C. Ride and Delivery Information
When you request or provide a ride/delivery, we collect:
- Pickup and destination addresses: Exact locations and human-readable addresses
- Route information: The path taken during the ride, distance traveled, and duration
- Ride type: Selected vehicle category (e.g., Comfort, Tuk-tuk, Motorbike)
